HD Hyundai Robotics to showcase new industrial robots at tech expo
According to the company on Monday, it will debut four models from the U Series at the 2024 Future Innovation Tech Expo (FIX 2024) kicking off on Wednesday at the Exhibition & Convention Center (EXCO) in Daegu in southeastern Korea.
FIX 2024 is the largest advanced industrial technology exhibition in Korea.
The U Series features a significantly reduced weight and shorter work times compared to existing robots, while also expanding the working radius.
HD Hyundai Robotics has reduced the new robots’ weight by up to 12 percent by optimizing structural design to reduce their size and cut their work time by up to 11 percent.
The U Series can be widely applied to production facilities across various industries, including automotive manufacturing.
“We plan to introduce a range of new products, starting with the U Series,” said HD Hyundai Robotics Chief Executive Officer Kim Wan-soo. “We aim to showcase our superior product technology and solutions with an extensive lineup.”
HD Hyundai Robotics plans to launch more than 10 new products, including collaborative robots, by 2026.
